Parking suspension at Homerton University Hospital - 26 and 27 October

The main car park at Homerton University Hospital will have significantly reduced parking from 12 midday on Saturday 26 October until approximately 6pm on Sunday 27 October.

Please see this map for details of the closure and amended route through the main car park.  

If you are attending an appointment or visiting somebody at the hospital during this time, please consider alternative methods of travel if possible. If you do need to drive to the hospital, please note that less parking will be available and you may not be able to park on site. Please allow extra time to locate appropriate parking. Patients or visitors can be dropped off at the normal drop off/collection point in the main car park. The disabled parking bays in the main car park will remain operational.

Our patient transport service will be operating as normal.

Alternative parking

There are public car parks in Hackney Central which are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These operate a ‘Pay and Display’ parking charge during the week. However, from 7pm to 7am and on Sundays, it is free to use these car parks (hours may vary, please check). Please note, there may also be a maximum stay for the car parks during operational hours. Residential parking bays around the hospital are not active on weekends, so can also be used for parking by staff and patients. Restrictions may vary, please see the operational hours and map on the Hackney council website and signs next to the parking bays for full details.
