Band 5 nurses who have successfully completed the nursing preceptorship programme will be able to apply for fully-funded post-graduate education accredited by City University of London.
A fully funded post-graduate development programme consisting of four modules can be taken as either a continuing professional development programme or as an academic accredited programme (to achieve a post-graduate certificate):
Staff can complete the following modules:

- Professional Leadership
- Mentorship for nurses / *Leading Change (* if mentorship has already been completed before entry onto the programme)
- Quality Improvement work-based project
For staff who already have 120 academic credits at post-graduate level, there is an opportunity to apply for a Dissertation Module to achieve a full Masters degree.
All fees and 50% paid study leave will be given to successful applicants in return for which a staff agrees to remain with the Trust for 12 months following successful completion of the programme.
