Children's services in the community
All local authorities have a duty to prepare, develop and maintain a local offer - information about services and support that children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and or Disability) aged 0-25, their families may access. People working in support services across education, health and care can assist families with accessing information from the local offer. Homerton University Hospital is commissioned to manage many services and their locations in the community by City and Hackney CCG and the London Borough of Hackney including the local Health Visiting service below.
