The Hackney Healthy Eating & Obesity Service
Currently we offer a modified version of our Alive N Kicking Programme group sessions via video call or a series of 6 1:1 sessions via video or telephone call depending on the service users’ preference and needs. The 1:1 sessions have been the most popular and we are seeing promising outcomes for those who engage.
As a Tier 2 weight management service for children, we are still welcoming any referrals for children who are above a healthy weight (>91st centile) and who have either a Hackney postcode, or are registered at a Hackney school or GP at this time. Alternatively, the family are able to self-refer and can find more details on our website or call Szilvi on 07849 092 185.
What will families receive as part of The Hackney Healthy Eating & Obesity Service during the COVID19 pandemic?
